ABOUT IMPACT COMMUNICATIONS AND THE FIDUCIARY VOICES PLATFORM
Impact Communications has provided educational workshops, experiential learning centers, written content, and recorded information to help financial advisors more effectively communicate their value proposition, reach more right-fit clients, and reap the rewards of a well-managed business for over 30 years. In 2020, Impact doubled its efforts to help advisors produce and disseminate more rich, educational content – the type of content that builds trust and has a magnetic effect.
CEO Marie Swift has been leading the charge since she established Impact Communications in 1993. A respected voice in the financial services industry, she has contributed hundreds of articles to industry publications, led hundreds of webinars and in-person presentations, and created hundreds of videos and podcast recordings for Impact and client engagements.
“Fiduciary Voices” is an information-driven platform where fiduciary advisors and allied others can express their opinions and disseminate educational content to the general public. The profiles, articles, videos and podcasts archived on the site – which is powered by Impact Communications – are offered without cost or obligation. Impact Communications believes that fiduciary standards are important. On FiduciaryVoices.com, visitors will find financial insights and learn more about the benefits of working with an independent financial advisor
who adheres to the Fiduciary Standard.
A secondary vision for Fiduciary Voices is to provide practice management information and inspiration to other financial professionals via Fiduciary Voices Roundtable discussions, news and announcements, profiles, videos and podcasts.
In the 1st year of publication (April 2024 – April 2025), the Fiduciary Voices platform already houses 5 advisor profiles and 2 advisor roundtable gathering summaries. Over 40 financial literacy videos – dubbed #FinLit videos – have been published and promoted to the general public via LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
The Fiduciary Voices platform is not only a “labor of love” for Impact Communications – it is a way to showcase Impact’s best clients, centers of influence, and specially-considered others to help amplify and shine a light on their good work.

In December 2023, Impact Communications began curating content on the platform. In April 2024, we began recording video interviews. Currently, 41 FinLit videos – with rotating hosts including Bob Veres, Derrick Kinney, and Marie Swift, and special guests including Knut Rostad, George Kinder, and Sam Renick have been produced and promoted. Two in-person roundtable gatherings were hosted in 2024.
Goals:
During the initial “building months,” promotions and traffic were virtually nil. But, since launching the FinLit Series 12 months ago, in April 2024, there have been 2,500 unique visits and 6,400 page views. This surge reflects the platform’s growing effectiveness in delivering inspiration for other financial advisors and accessible, relevant advice for consumers straight from fiduciary financial professionals. Further growth is anticipated as the platform continues to house and promote more valuable content.
We are so proud of our work, that we even submitting the Fiduciary Voices platform to an industry awards competition dubbed “The Wealthies.” Winning a Wealthie would help amplify and validate our mission (fingers crossed the judges give us a finalist nod).
